ORANGE CULTURE

Hi, sorry for being silent on just a SKETCH for some time now, haven't been disposed to sketch for months, but I'm glad I'm glad back now, they are actually my first illustrations with acrylic colours. Take time to compare these with the older post with water color, which do you think is better. I love this design from Orange culture, the use of colors on men is actually intriguing, makes me like WOW!!!

Hi, happy valentine, it's been a long time, I'm sorry that I haven't been posting but I have a good excuse. I was writing my exams and so I had to pause this in order to be able to read but I'm back now so enjoy.
         Today I would be sharing with you designs from Xclamations' Tomi Totimi @xclamations2 , she made a good fuse of African contemporary design on a Diva, guys you could REAFFIRM your love for your woman with some pieces form Xclamations. xoxo

Mai Afafo Inspire

Hi,
scrolling down Just a SKETCH, you would notice that in months, my illustrations have had some changes, you would also notice that the ladies have had it since the birth of Just a SKETCH. With those observations, I decided to do something totally different from an exceptional designer. Mai Atafo showcased a collection for both the ladies and gents on the platform of GTB LFDW 2013. I decided to illustrate only the gents.
I have always liked shade of colours for men but he proved me wrong and showed me that tints of colours still work with his perfect cut ( I hope I didn't spoil the cut). This pieces brings the ''gentle in a man'' Just like the ladies would love it. And for the ladies I suggest you get one or ALL for your man this season, he would love it xoxo.

Hi, these set of illustrations marks a stage of evolution in the way I present my sketches, with the advise from  an experienced illustrator, she told me that I should give my sketches identities, she said I should give my sketches faces in order to define who they really are and here is Bridget Awosika GTB lagos fashion and design week,(LFDW) 2013 collection, what makes me attracted to her collection is the perfect cut given to the sheer materials, gives a woman that comfortable feeling and look at the same time makes her transparent like you could see through  her but at the same time covered, just love the combinations, hope you love them too xoxo

Trish O Couture

Hi,
Today I would be posting designs from Just one designer i.e Patricia Onumonu of Trish O Couture. This is because she was able  to capture my heart through the use of  African fabrics and foreign ones alike, some have rough edges like the last one. She shows you that any woman can become a chic all you have to do is "slip into one of the piece and whola! you are one" Just like that. Been a former model she sure knows what she has to do to make every woman look elegant. ENJOY!!!!

ROUGH EDGES

Hi, been quite a time, but I'm back now. You know during the whole fashion showcase from New York to London, Paris to Milan, I just couldn't get my eyes off the designs by Calvin Klein, it was just sweet, that's  if I could eat them, but seriously the cut are as nice as they could be. The very thing that took my attention was the rough edges. Those (rough edges) made it as unique as it was, meaning only special ladies could wear them. I picked some of them and told myself that I would have to sketch them, and I did, just hope you love them

 After that, I thought I had seen a girl so beautiful that I had to stop what I was doing and stare for a while but later found out that they were wearing designs by Burberry, then I knew I didn't make a mistake to say that the girls are BEAUTIFUL. Burberry did a wonderful job bring these lace to something I would love on a outgoing woman. Just love it...
